أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِنْ مَنِيٍّ يُمْنَىٰ
Was he not just a drop of the semen that is discharged?

Was he not — that is indeed he was — a drop of emitted semen? read yumnā or tumnā deposited into the womb.

أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِنْ مَنِيٍّ يُمْنَىٰ
