55 - Ar-Rahmaan

سُورَةُ الرَّحۡمَٰن

  • 55:49
    49

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:50
    50

    فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ

    In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs.

    51

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny?

  • 55:52
    52

    فِيهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ

    In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit.

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الرَّحْمَٰنُ

    The Beneficent (God)

  • 55:2
    2

    عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ

    has taught the Quran to (Muhammad).

    3

    خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ

    He created the human being

  • 55:4
    4

    عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ

    and has taught him intelligible speech.

  • 55:5
    5

    الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ

    The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit.

  • 55:6
    6

    وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ

    The plants and trees prostrate before Him.

  • 55:7
    7

    وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ

    He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance,

  • 55:8
    8

    أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ

    so that you would maintain justice.

    9

    وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ

    Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance.

    10

    وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ

    He spread out the earth for the people.

  • 55:11
    11

    فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ

    There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms,

  • 55:12
    12

    وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ

    grain with its husk and aromatic herbs.

    13

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny?

    14

    خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ

    He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery

  • 55:15
    15

    وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِنْ مَارِجٍ مِنْ نَارٍ

    and jinn from the many colored flames of fire.

  • 55:16
    16

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny?

  • 55:17
    17

    رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ

    He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons.

  • 55:18
    18

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

  • 55:19
    19

    مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ

    He has made the two oceans meet each other,

  • 55:20
    20

    بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَا يَبْغِيَانِ

    but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally.

    21

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

    22

    يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ

    From the two oceans comes pearls and coral.

  • 55:23
    23

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:24
    24

    وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنْشَآتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ

    By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains.

  • 55:25
    25

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

  • 55:26
    26

    كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

    Everyone on earth is destined to die.

  • 55:27
    27

    وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

    Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever.

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

  • 55:29
    29

    يَسْأَلُهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ

    Everyone in the heavens and the earth depends on Him. His task in preserving His creation is continuous.

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

  • 55:31
    31

    سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلَانِ

    Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts.

    32

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:33
    33

    يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ تَنْفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنْفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ

    Jinn and mankind, if you can penetrate the diameters of the heavens and the earth, do so, but you cannot do so without power and authority.

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:35
    35

    يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِنْ نَارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرَانِ

    Flames of fire and molten brass will be released against you and you will not be able to protect yourselves.

    36

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

  • 55:37
    37

    فَإِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ

    (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil.

    38

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

  • 55:39
    39

    فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْ ذَنْبِهِ إِنْسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ

    On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin

  • 55:40
    40

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:41
    41

    يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ

    The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet.

  • 55:42
    42

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny?

  • 55:43
    43

    هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ

    (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied".

    44

    يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ

    They will run around in blazing fire and boiling water.

  • 55:45
    45

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:46
    46

    وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ

    Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens

  • 55:47
    47

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:48
    48

    ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ

    full of various trees.

  • 55:54
    54

    مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ

    (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens.

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:56
    56

    فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ

    There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before.

  • 55:57
    57

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny

  • 55:58
    58

    كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ

    who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls.

  • 55:59
    59

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:60
    60

    هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ

    Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor?

  • 55:61
    61

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:62
    62

    وَمِنْ دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ

    Besides this, there will be two other gardens.

  • 55:63
    63

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny

  • 55:64
    64

    مُدْهَامَّتَانِ

    - dark green in color.

  • 55:65
    65

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:66
    66

    فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ

    In these there will also be two springs gushing forth.

  • 55:67
    67

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:68
    68

    فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ

    In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates

  • 55:69
    69

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:70
    70

    فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَاتٌ حِسَانٌ

    There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens.

  • 55:71
    71

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny

  • 55:72
    72

    حُورٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ

    - with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents.

  • 55:73
    73

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    - jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny

  • 55:74
    74

    لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ

    - untouched by jinn or mankind before.

  • 55:75
    75

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:76
    76

    مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ

    They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions

  • 55:77
    77

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny?

  • 55:78
    78

    تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

    Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace.
