55 - Ar-Rahmaan

سُورَةُ الرَّحۡمَٰن

  • 55:49
    49

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:50
    50

    فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ

    In which, will be two fountains running.

  • 55:51
    51

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:52
    52

    فِيهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ

    In which will be of every fruit two kinds.

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الرَّحْمَٰنُ

    The Compassionate.

    2

    عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ

    Hath taught the Qur'an.

  • 55:3
    3

    خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ

    He created man.

  • 55:4
    4

    عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ

    He taught distinctness.

  • 55:5
    5

    الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ

    The sun and the moon are in a reckoning.

  • 55:6
    6

    وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ

    And the herbs and the trees do obe isance."

  • 55:7
    7

    وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ

    And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance.

  • 55:8
    8

    أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ

    That ye should not trespass in respect of the balance.

  • 55:9
    9

    وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ

    And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance.

  • 55:10
    10

    وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ

    And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures.

  • 55:11
    11

    فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ

    Therein are fruit and palm-trees sheathed.

  • 55:12
    12

    وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ

    And grain chaffed and other food.

  • 55:13
    13

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie?

    14

    خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ

    He created man of clay like, Unto pottery.

  • 55:15
    15

    وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِنْ مَارِجٍ مِنْ نَارٍ

    And He created the Jinn of a flame of fire.

  • 55:16
    16

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie

  • 55:17
    17

    رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ

    He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests.

  • 55:18
    18

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:19
    19

    مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ

    He hath let loose the two seas.

  • 55:20
    20

    بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَا يَبْغِيَانِ

    In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not.

  • 55:21
    21

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:53
    53

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

    22

    يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ

    There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral.

  • 55:23
    23

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:24
    24

    وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنْشَآتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ

    His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains.

  • 55:25
    25

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:26
    26

    كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

    Everyone that is thereon will Pass away.

  • 55:27
    27

    وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

    And there will remain the countenance of thine Lord, Owner of Majesty and Beneficence.

    28

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie?

  • 55:29
    29

    يَسْأَلُهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ

    Of Him beggeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth; every day He is in a new affair.

    30

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:31
    31

    سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلَانِ

    Anon We shall direct Our selves to you, O ye two classes.

  • 55:32
    32

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:33
    33

    يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ تَنْفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنْفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ

    O assembly of Jinn and man! if ye be able to pass out of the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass out; ye can not pass out except with authority.

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:35
    35

    يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِنْ نَارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرَانِ

    There shall be sent against you both flame of fire and smoke, and ye shall not be able to defend yourselves.

    36

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:37
    37

    فَإِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ

    And when the heaven will be rent in sunder and will become rosy like Unto red hide.

  • 55:38
    38

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Whfch, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie!

  • 55:39
    39

    فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْ ذَنْبِهِ إِنْسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ

    Of his sin will be questioned that Day neither man nor jinn.

  • 55:40
    40

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:41
    41

    يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ

    The culprits will be recognised by their marks, and will be lain hold of by the forelocks and the feet.

  • 55:42
    42

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:43
    43

    هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ

    Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied.

  • 55:44
    44

    يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ

    Going round between it and balling water fierce.

  • 55:45
    45

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:46
    46

    وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ

    And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens.

  • 55:47
    47

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

    ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ

    With spreading branches.

  • 55:54
    54

    مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ

    Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand.

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:56
    56

    فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ

    Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn.

    57

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:58
    58

    كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ

    As though they are jacinth and coral.

  • 55:59
    59

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:60
    60

    هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ

    Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness?

  • 55:61
    61

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:62
    62

    وَمِنْ دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ

    And beside the two there will be two other Gardens.

  • 55:63
    63

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli?

  • 55:64
    64

    مُدْهَامَّتَانِ

    Dark-green.

  • 55:65
    65

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:66
    66

    فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ

    In which will be two fountains gushing forth.

  • 55:67
    67

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:68
    68

    فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ

    In which will be fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate.

  • 55:69
    69

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:70
    70

    فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَاتٌ حِسَانٌ

    Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous.

  • 55:71
    71

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:72
    72

    حُورٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ

    Fair ones, confined in tents.

  • 55:73
    73

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:74
    74

    لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ

    There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn.

  • 55:75
    75

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:76
    76

    مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ

    Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous.

  • 55:77
    77

    فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie?

  • 55:78
    78

    تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

    Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence!
